In August of 2023, sixty-seven students from Western Sydney University participated in a detailled audit of their weekly routine by collecting data on what task they performed every half-hour for 168 hours. Though each student expectedly had a unique personal schedule, a common narrative prevailed; one of an institutionalised reliance on LCD screens and digital technology. Though screens produce prolonged luminescence, the growing presence of a societal dependence on it makes our future seem not-so bright.

This prototype website aims to highlight the youth’s overreliance of screens with a hyper-interactive infographic detailling all collected data from the mentioned research survey. Check out the link below to explore the full prototype.
