FishMate is a hypothetical app that could be used by fishermen, small-scale fisheries and general fishing enthusiasts to keep track of where they've gone fishing, list which fish they've been catching and identify fish species that they can't accurately define. This data can then be collected and used to monitor the population of aquatic wildlife in the ocean, as everyone logging their catches will provide the database with information on which species are being overfished and which fishing areas are becoming overpopulated by fishermen.

This hypothetical app was designed in response to an open-ended university brief requiring me to find a way to support life below water with UX/UI Design. The below embed is a fully-interactive prototype, so feel free to have a go!
